Pictured at his only show for 2011 the 'Rochester A & P Society championship show" where he gained his Australian Grand Championship & won 'Runner Up Best Exhibit in Show'. He was then retired from the ring. What a lovely end to a fabulous show career.

Midas came out of retirement on the 14-7-12 to gain his Supreme Championship with a Best of Breed win at Dareton. He was then awarded Runner Up Best in Show the next day, what a way to make a come back!!!

Midas was also awarded "Best Coat" & "Best Gait" at the 2008 SHAM Championship Specialty Show & "Best Gait" & "Best Head" at the 2008 AMCV Championship Show.

Midas won the Prestigious "Advance Annual Puppy Award" at the 2007 Royal Melbourne Show & was also awarded "Best In Match" at the AMCV's 'Working Dog Match' held on Anzac Day 2008.

Midas is a natural born sled dog, moving into duel lead position on his very first team run. In his race debut he assisted the team to first place in the four dog class of the AMCV's 3rd race at Macedon. The team finished "1st Mal Team home" in all open races competed in for 2007. Midas easily completed the requirements for his Working Team Dog title "WTD" at 15 months of age.

Midas is Co owned by Tonya Syme & E'vette Levett. Midas has produced 3 Australian Champions from 3 different litters, multi class in group & class in show winners, multi open sled race winners & AMCV State Cup Winners.

Whether it be in the ring or on the track Midas truly has the Golden Touch
